Lapitec is the Best Booth at KBIS 2024

Lapitec has been awarded the Best Booth – Small recognition for the concept and design of the exhibition stand at KBIS, the largest trade show in North America dedicated to the bathroom and kitchen sector, which saw the participation of over 670 exhibitors from around the world and 110,000 visitors for the 2024 edition alone. Evaluated by a jury of experts and industry professionals, the stands this year were selected for innovative design, creativity, and the proposal of an immersive experience.

A 'speaking' exhibition
From origins to potential applications: Lapitec's stand, designed by architect Devvy Comacchio of Didonè Comacchio Architects, tells the story of sintered stone, in all stages of the product's life. A cascade of minerals, the same ones that compose the 100% natural mixture of sintered stone, descends from above at the center of the stand, serving as an exhibition device but also as an attractive and engaging element for visitors. In a play of mirrors, the stones are reflected on the ceiling and on a circular slab of Lapitec Nero Assoluto, Lux finish, positioned on the floor. The second chapter of the story is dedicated to the finished product, brought to its maximum expression: two large slabs are placed on stands, like works of art, and accompany the visitor to the third step, defined by the possible processes and applications of Lapitec. Sintered stone is thus showcased in the kitchen, presented at KBIS in a 6-meter block, with application on the countertop and sides, embellished with intricate ribbing; in immersion, with a large rectangular tub; and as material for product design, shown here as a surface for the coffee tables that complete the stand. A 'speaking' installation that not only demonstrates the possible applications but also involves in the life and production process of Lapitec.

Lapitec highlights a KBIS 2024
The Musa collection, featuring the new nuances Bianco Alba, Bianco Diana, and Bianco Pandora, takes center stage in the exhibition journey: shown in different configurations and finishes, the ribbing that embellishes the kitchen block slabs maximizes the possibilities for processing and customization of the veined family. The vein passes through the slab in its entire thickness and is not the result of inks or digital prints on the surface: for this reason, Lapitec Musa can be freely engraved, milled, and decorated without limitations, in line with project requirements. As a result of a composition of only 100% natural minerals and completely silica-free, Lapitec is also a safe material for the health of industry operators. The intrinsic characteristics of the material, devoid of pores on the surface, finally allow the installation of slabs in contact with water, even immersed and in environments with chlorine and saline mists.
