Lapitec: below-top innovation at Sicam 2017 From 10 to 13 October, Hall 1 – Stand B29

After Cersaie and Marmomac, the Italian company will be presenting its autumn novelties at Sicam. On the stand the company will be presenting their latest colours and a series of innovative solutions for kitchens, created in collaboration with minotticucine.

The kitchen in Bianco Assoluto and Nero Assoluto

Architect Marco Piva unveiled the two new shades during the press conference launch at Cersaie. And Bianco Assoluto and Nero Assoluto are the key protagonists of this expansion of the colour range. The result of an intensive collaboration between architects and designers from all over the world, the introduction of this new option highlights the company’s focus on the needs of people who think-up, design and create walls, coverings, kitchens and interiors on a daily basis. At Sicam, Lapitec will be exhibiting kitchen worktops specifically created for the Nero Assoluto and Bianco Assoluto launch, as well as another top with an appealing Arabescato finish.

Technological innovation runs under the top

At Pordenone, the company will be exhibiting a series of models, designed by Alberto Minotti, that represent a great innovation in kitchen design solutions. Four projects that highlight the exceptional workability of sintered stone and its ability to integrate with leading-edge technologies. Key concept: an extremely clean and functional aesthetic. In fact, one design features an under-worktop induction hob, creating exceptional continuity between the work surface and cooking area. At the other extreme, there will be a unit with an integrated refrigerated surface under the top: the ideal solution for keeping foodstuffs fresh, especially in outdoor kitchen areas. Meanwhile, the PITT cooking solution, with its striking visual impact, has been created thanks to the option of being able to pass the gas pipe through a hole in the top. Finally, the stand will also be showcasing a sink that has been completely built into the worktop.

Ever-stronger partnerships with the kitchen world

Lapitec is a unique material that was immediately appreciated by the big names in the Italian and international kitchen sector. The patented technology allows large slabs – 1540x3440 mm with calibrated thicknesses of 12, 20 and 30 mm – with excellent physical and mechanical properties, with the added benefit of a choice of seven different finishes. The slabs surface is also non-absorbent, easy to clean and completely resistant to any kind of scratching and high temperatures. Moreover, the exclusive Bio-Care technology makes Lapitec a self-cleaning and antibacterial material.
For this reason, it was chosen by Pedini Cucine, that uses the full body sintered stone for the kitchen worktops and side walls in the Arts & Crafts project, with Lux, Satin and Vesuvio finishes.
Valcucine, on the other hand, collaborated with Lapitec to develop Carbontec by Lapitec, an exclusive collection with a carbon micro woven roving to achieve reduced-thickness kitchen worktops and thinner profiles.
Maistri Cucine has chosen Lapitec for the Giza kitchen: a rhythmic alternation of Satin finished Bianco Crema and Ebano for the worktop, the cabinets and the drawers.
Franke thought of Lapitec to create Franke Stone by Lapitec, which sums up the partnership between the two companies, available in four finishes and ten colours.
In addition to these brands, the full body sintered stone has been chosen by another three big names: Scavolini, Effeti and PoggenPohl. Finally, for Lapitec, 2017 has been an important year, which has seen the consolidation of numerous strategic partnerships with the likes of Arredo3, Arrital, Lube and Brummel.
