Lapitec at Milan Design Week 2024: Versatility and Elegance in the Spotlight

This year, Lapitec took part in Milan Design Week with a series of events, installations, and projects spanning between Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone, showcasing the versatility of sintered stone, the wide range of veined and solid color nuances, available finishes, and the ease of material application in various contexts. From indoor to outdoor, kitchen to bathroom, furnishings to cladding, Lapitec has opened up endless possibilities for design freedom due to its unique properties.

At Salone del Mobile, Lapitec was showcased at the Abimis stand (Eurocucina 2024) with a customized outdoor kitchen, complete with accessories and functionalities designed for cocktail preparation and service. At Pavilion 24, Gessi's stand experimented with the characteristics and applications of sintered stone in the bathroom environment, highlighting its total non-absorbency, allowing its use even in contact with water and cleaning agents without alteration. Additionally, Lapitec was featured at Mesons' stand (Pavilion 5), serving as a countertop for a state-of-the-art technological kitchen, affirming its adaptability to modern and technologically advanced contexts. Lastly, Lapitec stood out at Urbantime's exhibition space (Pavilion 18), playing a significant role as a surface for seating in outdoor furniture pieces.

At Fuorisalone, Lapitec presented further applications for kitchen settings with TM Italia at the Foundation of the Blind Institute of Milan, for the bathroom at Casa Gessi, and showcased various furnishing accessory options with Anonima Castelli. Finally, in Piazza Cordusio, the 100% natural and silica-free surface covered "Neutro," the urban project born from the collaboration between Michele Perlini and Dario Biello, serving as a manifesto for a public area for parking, relaxation, and work.
