Sintered stone tables and Lapitec architectural surfaces play a leading role at the 2017 Fuorisalone

European design falls for full body sintered stone. Lapitec has become the favoured choice of Made in Italy icons of design, as an architectural element and a material for worktops and surfaces to enhance locations and showrooms.

“Our presence this year,” said Michele Ballarin, Marketing and Sales Director of the company, “reinforces our already consolidated synergy with the world of interior design. Designers and architects appreciate

Lapitec because they can find everything that they are looking for in a single material: aesthetically appealing finishes and colours, versatility of application, workability and structural strength. These key elements make full body sintered stone an elegant, as well as technical, means of expression.”

Lapitec white at White in the City

White Young Innovative is an initiative that is part of the “White in the City” project, the most highly anticipated event of Fuorisalone 2017. The project's aim is to celebrate the colour white through the work of artists and designers. Lapitec will present a table designed by Devvy Comacchio of the Didoné-Comacchio studio. The table embodies one of the distinctive qualities of Lapitec: it consists of a single slab of sintered stone, three meters long and three centimetres thick. Two very airy iron structures support the slab at each end to showcase the width of the Lapitec slab. The colour is Bianco Polare, with a Satin finish. The result is minimalistic, with compact lines, and, at the same time, iridescent in the light of the colours and finely worked surface of the top.

Brummel chooses Lapitec for its stand

Here, we move into the Fair itself. In hall 01, stand L06, Brummel presents its furnishings. Lapitec has been chosen as the material to create and enhance a particularly striking corner. Exhibition space has been used to create an alcove where Arabescato Michelangelo and Arabescato Bernini, both finished in Lux, sinuously alternate to reproduce the setting for a Rococo bathroom.

Lapitec in the heart of Milan

There are many opportunities to appreciate the great versatility of Lapitec.
Two leading companies that design and make kitchens, Maistri Cucine and Arrital, have chosen Lapitec as a partner for events during Design Week. On April 6, at the Actual Spotti exhibition space, Lapitec will be on display, while the Arrital showroom, via Melchiorre Gioia 8, will exhibit a table with a top made of Nero Antracite sintered stone with a Lithos finish.
