Kitchen & Bath China (KBC), the annual exhibition dedicated to bathroom and kitchen projects, opened the doors of its 26th edition on May 26th. The event targets international distributors, exporters, and buyers, dealing with every aspect related to the design of service rooms, from materials, accessories, and innovative technological systems.

At the fair, Lapitec presents a kitchen project based on black and white contrast, where the sintered stone covers both the surfaces and the furnishing. The kitchen block, Artika model of the Italian brand Pedini, is customized with the Musa collection in Bianco Vittoria Lux finish, which decorates the worktop with its delicate contrasting veins. The glossy finish indeed interacts with the light giving life to lively reflections.

The fair is, in fact, an opportunity to officially present the Musa collection to the Asian market (chief territory for the company). The finish features textures passing along the entire thickness of slabs, also visible on the coast or in the case of mechanical processing. The company will also introduce the new Nero Assoluto Velluto finish, a novelty for 2021 that is opaque and silky to the touch. For the entire duration of the fair, the Lapitec exhibition space will be the scene of the show-cooking of Lucky Lasagna, an Italian chef who will demonstrate the technical characteristics of the sintered stone while entertaining visitors. Lapitec is made of a mixture of 100% natural minerals, free of petroleum derivatives and resins, and it's certified with the NSF Food Zone mark for direct food contact. It's inhospitable for molds, fungi, and bacteria, thanks to the surface free of porous and non-absorbent, and it's easy to clean and resistant to stains, acids, and chemical solvents, cuts, scratches, and bumps. Finally, it's resistant to temperatures, even extreme ones, and thermic changes.

The stand also shows a material library - with large Lapitec panels in the size 1500x3365 mm - which explores the different shades and surface textures available. Several furnishing accessories made of sintered stone complete the environment, including a coffee table and a sink. Suitable for any use, Lapitec can be freely carved, cut, and milled and maintains the technical-aesthetic characteristics in all its thickness, being a "full-body" material identical in every point.
